    CLIIN is Established and Prototype Development Starts CLIIN ApS is established in Denmark by Thomas Jørgensen, Bo Møller Hansen, Nikolaj Kloster and Michael Iversen with money from private funding. Development of first prototype starts.

    200m2 Onshore Test Facility Opens CLIIN opens a test facility equipped with steel constructions to imitate the cargo hold of a ship. Several tests are done and iterations are made to the design of the CHR.
  • 2017 March
    First On-Board Live Tests Performed The robot is moved out of the ship imitation facility and onto real ships where functionality is tested and important feedback is gathered.

    Public funding EU CLIIN receives funding from the EU’s Horizon 2020 programme for research, technological development, and innovation.

    From Prototype to 1st Generation - First delivery on board J.L vessel After extensive testing, CLIIN's 1st generation Cargo Hold Robot (CHR) is ready for work onboard J.L. vessel Elvira.  
  • 2018 September
    Technical office opens in Singapore The Singapore office is opened to provide the necessary assistance and equipment for ships associated with CLIIN in this major shipping hub.
  • 2019 February
    Public funding, Danske Maritime fond Robot Union, EU programme. Along with 19 other startups, CLIIN was selected for the Robot Union Acceleration Programme.
  • 2019 March
    Development project with DTI www.teknologisk.dk Global patent granted. Global patent for vital innovation in the robot is granted.
  • 2019 April
    Public funding, Innovationsfonden DS Marine Consultants Greece http://dsmarineconsultants.com/ established as agent for CLIIN in Greece.
